Bandra Kurla Complex Ground pitch report
How the surface usually plays, then the figures from completed matches stored at this ground (average first-innings score is the median).
Evidence from the 2013 Women's World Cup period describes a moist morning surface at Bandra Kurla Complex that offered swing and favoured fast bowling early. Conditions changed as the surface dried, so the available evidence does not support a broader long-term pitch classification.
- Morning moisture and a moving ball helped fast bowlers in the 8 February 2013 match.

History of Bandra Kurla Complex Ground
The ground was established in 2006 on land owned by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. Mumbai Cricket Association developed the site as part of its Bandra Kurla Complex recreation centre and cricket facilities. The MCA says the wider complex includes a full-sized cricket ground used for Ranji Trophy matches, while its indoor academy page gives the address as RG-2, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East.
The venue's international programme was limited to women's cricket. India Women played England Women in the ground's first women's ODI on 1 March 2010, and the venue hosted three women's T20Is during the same series. It later staged women's World Cup fixtures in 2013; the last women's ODI listed for the ground was on 8 February 2013. The available sources do not establish a formal closure or a single reason for the end of international use, so it is best treated as a former international venue that continues as an MCA domestic and training facility.
