KSCA Rajnagar Stadium (Hubballi) pitch report
How the surface usually plays, then the figures from completed matches stored at this ground (average first-innings score is the median).
Reliable venue reporting confirms a prepared grass outfield and ten turf pitches at the associated academy, but does not provide enough evidence to describe a settled match-day pattern for pace, spin, soil or dew. A specific pitch behaviour claim is therefore omitted.
- The ground was prepared with a large grass outfield.
- The academy complex was reported to have ten turf pitches.

History of KSCA Rajnagar Stadium (Hubballi)
The ground was developed on land acquired by the KSCA on a 30-year lease in 2005, after plans for a Hubballi stadium had been discussed since 2002. It was completed and inaugurated in November 2012 by Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar. The venue was part of the association's wider effort to take high-level cricket beyond Bengaluru.
Before the new venue, Hubballi's last first-class match had been played at Nehru Stadium in 1992-93. The new ground was prepared with a large grass outfield and ten turf pitches linked to the Royal Challengers KSCA academy. In 2016, the KSCA announced a phased development project for a northern pavilion, player and media facilities, guest rooms, parking and additional spectator infrastructure.
The ground has remained a domestic venue rather than an international ground. It hosted the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy final between Karnataka and Jammu & Kashmir from 24 February to 28 February 2026 after infrastructure and safety work at Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium made that venue unsuitable for the fixture.
