History of DRIEMS Ground
The ground is named after Dhaneswar Rath Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences, the institution now known as DRIEMS University. It is situated at the university campus in Tangi, Cuttack. The university describes the site as a full-sized cricket ground with a maintained outfield, multiple centre pitches, a pavilion and practice facilities. Those details confirm continued campus cricket use, although they do not establish a separate public stadium capacity or the date of construction.
DRIEMS Ground's international cricket came in the 2013 ICC Women's World Cup. New Zealand Women played South Africa Women there on 1 February, Australia Women met South Africa Women on 3 February, and Australia Women played New Zealand Women on 5 February. The venue record lists three Women's ODIs in total. No men's international, Test or T20I match is recorded for the ground.
The last recorded international was Australia Women versus New Zealand Women on 5 February 2013. DRIEMS University's current sports page still presents the cricket ground as an active campus facility and records youth and inter-collegiate sporting use. The ground should therefore be treated as a former international venue rather than assumed to be closed.
